I am a registered nurse, acupuncturist, and CranioSacral therapist. Having studied within the Western and Eastern models of care in the United States and Australia I have a well-rounded view of the many philosophies to healthcare and wellbeing.

For many years I struggled with health issues and when I was unable to find answers or relief using the usual routes in Western medicine, I sought help using other therapies including acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy. This ignited my passion to study both modalities and now I love being able to share them with my patients.

I work to help my patients discover a new way to think about themselves, their bodies and their health on their journey to wellness. I encourage patients to listen to their body, approach treatment with a sense of hope and a willingness to embrace their responsibility to become an active participant in their healing.

Having worked as a registered nurse in many areas including women’s health and oncology, I have a special interest in using acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy as part of an integrative approach to the management of health concerns including:

  • Women’s health including fertility, peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms, endometriosis and PCOS
  • Oncology symptom management at all stages of treatment
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Anxiety, stress, grief and PTSD
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Musculoskeletal disorders

My degrees, certifications and training include:

  • Master of Science degree in Acupuncture
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner – Acupuncture
  • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Registered Nurse
  • Accredited member of the Australia Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA)
  • Upledger Institute CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release training
