For some mothers breastfeeding comes naturally, feeding comes easily, the baby latches effortlessly and mum has a plentiful milk supply. For other mothers breastfeeding does not seem natural at all. A milk supply that is not plentiful can be very stressful and most mothers will do anything to improve it. Breastfeeding support contains the herbs Blessed thistle and Fenugreek which have been used traditionally to help improve a dwindling milk supply.

Tips for an improved milk supply
At Happy Healthy Women we recommend all our mums having trouble producing enough milk use Herbs of Gold Breastfeeding Support in combination with some simple milk building tips:
Drink plenty of water, your requirement for water increases during the breastfeeding stage. Think of the milk you are giving bub as a water tank that you need to keep stocked up.Try not to stress too much. Yes, this can be easier said than done but try to remember that stress can cause a milk supply to reduce further.
Feed your baby more often if you can. Offer a breastfeed every 2-3hrs during the day for a few days. Increased breastfeeding should equal increased milk supply.
Relax during feeds. If possible take time away with just you and your baby. Avoid distractions such as your phone. Breathe through the feed, relaxing your body as the baby feeds.
Try acupuncture with a registered Acupuncturist to improve your supply.
