Essential oils are certainly having their day at the moment, and for good reason. Essential oils help to revitalise your sense of smell, the most sensitive of our 5 senses. Smells have such powerful connections to memories. An example of this is using your chosen oil while studying, and then during the exam, may help promote memory recall. At Happy Healthy Women we only recommend Perfect Potion essential oils.
Quality is super important
There are a large number of essential oils available on the market, the quality of which can vary greatly. This makes it important to read labels when purchasing. Some examples of a lower quality oil:
- If the label does not say 100% essential oils you are not dealing with essential oil, you are dealing with a synthetic, man made fragrance. Fragrances are potentially toxic. 1. A ‘study, by the University of Melbourne, found that one in three Australians report adverse health effects from fragranced products, including breathing problems, migraine headaches, skin irritation and asthma attacks.’
- If the oils are not 100% certified organic. Organic essential oils are important to us at Happy Healthy Women as this helps to ensure that the plants that the oils are derived from have been cultivated without the use of fertilisers or synthetic pesticides. This helps to ensure the finest quality oils are produced. Perfect Potion uses 100% organic essential oils wherever possible.

Ingredients Explained
- Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil. The fresh floral scent of lavender is harmonising and calming. It promotes compassion and healing.
- Citrus aurantium ssp. amara (petitgrain) oil. The pleasant, fresh, floral, sweet scent of petitgrain is reminiscent of orange blossoms. It is revitalising and balancing.
- Salvia sclarea (clary sage) oil. The sweet, nutty and herbaceous scent of clary sage is euphoric and harmonising.
- Anthemis nobilis (chamomile, Roman) oil. The scent of Roman chamomile is harmonising, serene and peaceful. It promotes inner peace.
- Citrus sinensis (orange, sweet) oil certified organic. The fresh, citrus scent of sweet orange conveys a sense of warmth and joy. It nourishes the soul with feelings of joy. May be used for the relief of stress, nervous tension, mild anxiety and insomnia and to treat dull and oily skin complexions.
Directions
Create a peaceful, sleepy environment:
- Add 5-7 drops of Sweet Dream Blend to your oil burner or diffuser to create a beautiful scent throughout your space.
- Add 3-5 drops to your favourite jewellery diffuser necklace to help promote a restful sleep.
- Add 5 drops to every 10ml of pure vegetable oil to use as a massage oil.
- Keep out of reach of children, for external use only.
