Vagus Nerve Stimulation – Fortress TENS Machine

We have chosen to use the Fortress TENS machine for our at home Vagus Nerve Stimulation programme due to its compact, durable and simple to use features.

To stimulate the Vagus Nerve you will need to also purchase the Happy Healthy Clinic TGA approved ear clips, you cannot stimulate the Vagus Nerve with the pads supplied with the Fortress TENS machine.  The pads supplied are suitable for treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

The Fortress TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) machine – is an electronic device that produces electrical signals used to stimulate nerves through unbroken skin.

Compact, portable, and poweful, the Fortress TENS Machine incorporates a wide variety of output combinations ensuring more effective treatment:

• Five modes: B(Burst), N(Normal), M(Pulse Rate Modulation), SD1(Pulse Duration Modulation) and SD2(Pulse Duration Modulation)
• Timer of 15 ,30, 60 minutes (or 15,30,Continuous)
• It can be used on a wide range of chronic and acute pain conditions including cervical, lower back, lumbago, leg pain, sciatica, arthritis, tendonitis, fractures, tennis elbow, and muscle and joint pain,
