About Herbs of Gold Children’s Calm Care
Calm Care can help calm and soothe your little one as well as help at sleep time to assist in the falling asleep process.
The carefully chosen ingredients in this formula include:
Magnesium: analysis of various magnesium studies concluded that 1 ‘it appears magnesium supplementation is effective at treating anxiety and anxiety-related disorders when used in combination with other vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts.’
Lactium has a calming effect due to its action on gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) pathways. GABA is a neurotransmitter with calming effects on the brain.
Chamomile is traditionally used for its calming and soothing effect in children.
Even the fussiest eater will like these! With a natural blackcurrant flavour and sweetened with the natural sugar alternative xylitol, your little ones will be asking for their calm care.
Ingredients
Each chewable tablet contains:
| Matricaria chamomilla (Chamomile) flower extract equiv. to dry | 300mg |
| Alpha casozepine enriched hydrolysed milk protein (Lactium®) | 25mg |
| Magnesium (as amino acid chelate) | 15mg |
| Naturally sweetened with xylitol and thaumatin. | |
| Lactium® is derived from cow’s milk. | |
| Each tablet contains 773mg xylitol. |
Does not contain added egg, peanut, soy or tree nut products, yeast, gluten, artificial colourings, flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives.
Directions
Children 1-3 years – Chew 1 tablet, twice daily.
Children 4-9 years – Chew 1 tablet, three times daily.
Tablet can be crushed and added to food.
Or take as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Not suitable for use in children under the age of 12 months, except on health professional advice.
